Choco Dock’s stallion  ancestry is perhaps the most distinguished line of proven stallions in the Mountain Horse registries.  His sire is the well-known stallion Dock, who is by the equally proven Choco, who is by the most prolific of the RMH foundation sires,  Kilburn’s Chocolate Sundown.  Choco Dock’s dam is the foundation mare Fonzie, also a producer of many fine offspring. 

This legendary Triple Registered stallion was conceived the year the first Mountain Horse registry was formed, and in the years since has proved himself in every way required for a stallion.  His championship show record, both in hand and under saddle, has spanned almost a decade, an achievement of extraordinary relevance and durability for any stallion in any breed.  His performance accomplishments are matched only by those of his offspring.  Choco Dock is a prepotent sire of outstanding get.  He is the all-time leading RMH Futurity sire in winnings of offspring, and his descendants are consistent winners both in halter and performance classes.   His offspring are equally prized as pleasure mounts for their willing, forward movement, strong gaits, and outgoing personality.

The final leg of the required Triple Crown for a pre-eminent, proven stallion is temperament.  Choco Dock’s temperament is as legendary as his other attributes.  He is quiet, affectionate and totally accommodating, yet blooms in the show environment with high-headed charisma and competitive spirit.  He can be ridden and handled by literally anyone.  For several years he was the lead horse in the Rocky Mountain Drill Team, performing with eleven other horses, stallions and geldings with perfect manners.  He tirelessly provides demonstration rides to countless admirers at demonstrations and expos across the country.
